• Aww wee little Artie has an inferiority complex
• Assassin guy is kinda cool, in a 'I don't say much' way.
• How can Merlin be late when Arthur's barely gotten off his horse?
• Hi Gwen! You have a nice house!
• Hi William! You have a nice... Um, oh well, you don't look half bad cleaned up.
• "This is my bed?" Buddy, you're not very perceptive, are you?
• Poor Gwennie...
• Tournament. Hi Morgana!
• Arthur is a prat.
• Leeches? Yuck.
• Arthur wins but is still a prat.
• OMG GO GWEN!!! Tell him girl! You tell him!
• Arthur's Epic Fight with the Chicken(TM)
• Arthur snores, I giggle.
• Kiss: D'awwwwwwwww...www...ww..w.... Okay you guys can stop now
• Merlin! You tell them sweetheart! Too right you are! (Okay, this episode is now and forever called 'Gwen and Merlin are awesome while Arthur is still a prat')
• Oh, and Arthur, the being more careful with people you care about doesn't just pertain to Gwen.
• More dead guys. Assassin guy has weird gadgets.
• Arthur, did I ever tell you that you're an idiot? Yes? Well, it needs saying twice: you're an idiot.
• Merlin saves the day, as expected.
• Arthur is noble! Yay!
• ETA: I just remembered, but Uther asking Merlin if 'he'd heard anything from Arthur' surprised me. Because it implies that Arthur would send a message to Merlin but not to Uther, who ,by all means should be informed of anything first, being Arthur's father and king. Which in turn implies that Uther believes that Arthur communicates more with Merlin, a mere servant, than with him. Thoughts? Or am I just overanalysing things?

General remarks:

• NEEDS MORE MORGANA!!!

I enjoyed this episode a lot, and was plesaently surprised at how they handled G/A - I think them more adult, so to speak, than I initially expected from the show. I didn't mind the music, I figured they would be going all out for G/A.

Gwen and Merlin were indeed awesome and as much as I see the need for Arthur the prat, in order to show the character growing, I am really getting tired of it...or possibly reading too much fic where he isn't a prat and I expect to see that on the show?!

Indeed. I was afraid the G/A was going too fast, and in some ways I still think so, but all in all it was executed quite well. I hope they can keep it up. As for Arthur... Yeah, I wonder what happened to the Arthur in Moment of Truth and Labyrinth of Gedref. I mean, really, I thought he and Merlin were past the lord/servant thing.

IA, the Lord/Servant thing is getting out of hand, especially in the way they're showing it...but then I think, Arthur is a creature of his court and his resposibilties (as evidenced by what he said to Gwen) so mebbe for A/M this is normal? With an extra side of prat for funny? (only, it's just kind of annoying at this stage)

Clearly, Merlin was supposed to be *already* there, waiting for him. That, or Arthur just enjoys complaining about him. (I was wondering the same, actually.

IKR?! How doesn't Morgana notice that Gwen suddenly isn't there to hug here when she has nightmares at night? Or notice anything at all being different with Gwen, they're usually so close. :(

Ff, I am so glad we'll get our Morgana-centric episode next week. It's about time! And seriously, I'm hopingthat hse at least finds out about Merlin having magic. Ideally, I'd want Arthur to find out, but seriously, why has no one found out yet? I think we've reached a point where all character development that could've taken place without revealing the magic has taken place. So i really want something to happen.

YES. That really annoyed me. And why is he suddenly so mean to Merlin? It's like S1 never happened. (I want Moment of Truth & Labyrinth of Gedref-Merlin/Arthur back!)

But, loved the episode, and liked the Arthur/Gwen. I really liked the way they handled it. And Guinevere is so likeable in Merlin! I hate her with a passion in most Arthurian stories. (Mists of Avalon. Grrrr. Awesome book, but Guinevere annoys me to no end. Always guilt tripping Arthur. "It's all your fault we don't have children, because you allow people to worship those heathen gods!", conveniently ignoring how she had been all too willing to try a bit of the 'old, heathen magic'. ARGH. SHE ANNOYS ME SO MUCH. *bangs head against wall repeatedly*)

YES, definitely. I keep wodnering what happened between them, and when it's gonna get fixed. It started bugging me last week ,and it's making me feel more and more uncomfortable.

But yeah, Gwen <3 I was a bit afraid for the romance part, but I think they handled it pretty well. And we'll have our Morgana episode next week ^^
